Do Animals have the right to a certain quality of life?

Yes I feel as though Animals have the right to a certain quality of life. If an Animal is on its way towards being killed and then shipped of to be processed into food as we humans know it, then the animals deserve some type of comfort and relief before they are killed. Sure the Animals do not know they are about to be killed but the person or persons doing the killing know this. Animals should not be pumped full of growth chemicals and crammed into uncomfortable areas littered with their own waste just to cut costs and lean towards the genre of mass production. Animals should be given a clean and comfortable environment that they could relate to and be given adequate moving room and healthy food. I mean after all nothing wants to be treated like trashed and then on top of that be killed.

After going to the Farmer's Market this allowed me to gather some insight on how long it takes to grow some foods organically and also some items that could be produced from some unusual sources. When I went to the Farmer's Market I saw soap made from Goat's Milk and also jars of honey with the comb still inside of it. The experience that made me the most uncomfortable was when the young farmers did not know about any of the things that i was talking about. The experience that I enjoyed the most was the free organic beef jerky samples.
