John f. Street

Today John Street came to my job and spoke to us about a lot of things. First he began with some jokes that won the crowd of nearly 250 kids over. He talked about where he grew up which was in North Philly. He explained that without a plan in life you will always get distracted by meaningless things. He also used t his Quote to minimize what he was saying. He said, “A man or woman who stops to throw a stone at every barking dog will never reach their destination.” I thought that quote was really good and its one of the things I remember most about his speech. He also played some games with the kids that caused them to win prizes like money and sweatshirts. Overall his entire presentation was great.
