The Reading Terminal trip yesterday was a pretty good experience for me. I got a chance to look around at food stands and vendors that were passed down from generation to generation. There were foods, spices, jewelry and pottery from all around the world. The place that I ate from was a Turkish/Middle Eastern vendor from which I ordered a lamb pita filled with salad, hummus and some kind of sauce almost like mayonnaise. For the most part the place was kind of expensive but the quality of the food was far better than going to a local corner store or a mcdonald's to grab a bite. I would surely visit this terminal again in the future but make sure I bring a bit more money next time.
